Klaimy 2024: redefining insurance processing on a global scale
Amira Nakouri, co-founder and CEO of Klaimy, introduces FinMag to this high-performance insurtech, founded in 2023, designed to automate claims management and underwriting paths in personal insurance by leveraging intelligent, instantaneous document analysis, thanks to advances in artificial intelligence.
This intelligent platform is capable of processing a wide range of complex and heterogeneous documents, including medical bills, electrocardiograms (ECGs), blood tests and medical reports. Klaimy analyzes these documents and enables the required decisions to be made by comparing the analyzed contextual data with the specific business rules of each insurer, which is essential for validation and verification processes.
The adaptive intelligence and hyper-customization of this solution make it a key player in the market, capable of adapting to the specific needs of each customer.

Can you introduce Klaimy to us?
Klaimy is an insurtech founded in 2023 to address the challenges of productivity and operational efficiency in insurance management paths, thanks to an innovative approach.
As a virtual insurance agent, Klaimy offers a platform that simplifies document management, a time-consuming aspect of life and health insurance. Our innovative solution can instantly process all documents, whether related to underwriting or claims, in all formats and languages.
Thanks to an API, Klaimy integrates seamlessly with our customers' existing systems, improving agent productivity and even fully automating certain tasks, without requiring major changes to their software packages or ERPs.
Who is your platform aimed at?
Klaimy is specifically designed for the insurance industry, and in particular personal insurance, i.e. health, loan and personal protection.
Our main contacts include brokers, brokerage managers and BPO managers at insurance companies, as well as mutual insurers and provident institutions.
What sets Klaimy apart?
Our concept is based on offering unrivalled efficiency through automation. Today, Klaimy achieves at least 99% efficiency thanks to proprietary technology based on generative AI and a deep understanding of the medical semantic field in the life and health insurance industry. This technology automates processes while eliminating human error, guaranteeing accuracy and responsiveness that enhance customer satisfaction.
Klaimy's real power lies in its adaptive intelligence. Unlike some market players, Klaimy stands out for its ability to adapt to existing internal management rules without modifying them or imposing its own. This flexibility is our real differentiating feature.
How did you come up with the idea for Klaimy?
The idea for Klaimy was born after an in-depth investigation phase, during which we involved between 300 and 350 industry professionals, a hundred or so operational managers interviewed, as well as insurance experts.
I spent 7 years in strategy consulting, working with major insurers and assistance providers, during which time I saw that productivity relied heavily on automation built in by the manager's experience. For each new arrival, exhaustive training was required to transform a beginner into an expert, and thus improve performance by a matter of minutes. Leaving the consulting field, I embarked on a career in entrepreneurship to solve this challenge.
Today, thanks to technologies such as generative AI, it is possible to free agents from repetitive, manual tasks, enabling them to concentrate on higher value-added activities. We continue to discover new perspectives. Improving productivity has become a priority for insurers, given the difficulty of reducing claims-related costs, particularly those linked to weather events.
What are your growth targets?
Our focus is on demonstrating Klaimy's value in the French market. We already have some great references among our customers who believe in our value proposition, and we're aiming to accelerate our growth, in France first, in 2024 and the first half of 2025. This is a crucial step before rolling out our solution worldwide.
Our ultimate goal is to redefine insurance processing worldwide, backed by an experienced founding team and cutting-edge technologies. We are currently in the process of raising funds, which will mobilize our efforts over the next three months, and plan to expand our team. Our ambition is to position ourselves as a leader in this field, and we intend to accelerate our development in the face of increasingly tangible competition.
